Here at DARTdrones, we are proud to announce our new industry specific drone training workshops. We recognized the growing need for advanced drone training in certain industries, so we decided to build courses for four of the fastest growing markets. Registration is now open for our four drone training workshops: aerial search and rescue, drone journalism, aerial inspections, and aerial mapping and modeling.
Drone Training Workshop Mission
We chose to dive deeper into the four industries we see growing the fastest. The public safety, aerial inspections, broadcast media, and aerial mapping and modeling sectors have shown promising growth. More importantly, these industries need pilots with advanced drone training that can perform specific missions and provide quality work. That’s where we come in!
Our expert flight instructors come from a variety of impressive careers and backgrounds. We have former firefighters, police officers, and even a Pulitzer Prize winner on our team. Also, all of our instructors are seasoned manned aircraft pilots, in addition to being expert unmanned aircraft pilots. We truly believe that we have built a best-in-class instructor team that can prepare our students to handle industry specific operations and provide high-quality work.
Industry Specific Drone Training Workshops
- The Rapid Daytime Aerial Search and Rescue Workshop will teach you to safely and effectively maneuver your aircraft to conduct search and rescue operations.
- Our Aerial Roof Inspections Workshop will teach you how to safely and effectively maneuver your aircraft in order to gather and analyze data necessary for successful inspections.
- Our Aerial Mapping and Modeling with DroneDeploy Workshop is designed to give you a complete understanding of the technology and workflow involved in creating quality aerial maps and 3D models.
- The Drone Journalism Workshop will teach you how to safely and effectively maneuver your aircraft in order to gather news data and provide quality coverage.
Rapidly Growing Drone Industry
It is hard to ignore the forecast predictions for the drone industry. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) estimate the drone industry will have an economic impact of $82 billion and create over 100,000 drone jobs by 2025. The commercial drone fleet is expected to exceed 420,000 by 2021, compared to the 42,000 in 2016. The tax revenue to states is expected to total more than $482 million in the first 11 years.
